Our client-side resizing engine uses HTML5 high-quality bicubic interpolation filters. When scaling down high-resolution camera photos, detail is preserved smoothly without producing jagged edges or moiré interference patterns.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Will resizing stretch or distort my picture?

Not if “Maintain aspect ratio” is checked. The resizer computes the missing dimension automatically to maintain the exact visual proportions of your original shot.

What does “Do not enlarge” do?

If you specify a target width of 1200px and upload a 600px image, enabling this prevents the image from being artificially blown up, avoiding pixelation and blurriness.

    Does resizing reduce file size?

Yes. Reducing the pixel count significantly cuts the total bytes needed to store the image, often decreasing file size by 50% to 90%.
