This Privacy Policy explains how Core Format (https://www.coreformat.com/) handles your data when you visit our website and use our browser-based image utilities.
1. Client-Side Image Processing
Core Format provides browser-based utilities for converting, compressing, resizing, and optimizing images. Unlike services that require uploading your media to remote processing servers, our tools execute directly inside your browser:
- Local Execution: File transformations run in your local browser tab using HTML5 Canvas, File/FileReader APIs, and browser encoding pipelines.
- No File Uploads: Selected image files are not uploaded to, transmitted across, or stored on our servers for conversion.
- Newly Encoded Outputs: When saving converted images through the HTML5 canvas, the resulting file is newly encoded by your browser. Original source metadata (such as EXIF camera tags, GPS location, and embedded color profiles) is not preserved in the exported output.
Local Privacy Notice: Conversion runs in this browser tab. Your image files are not uploaded for conversion. Your image files remain strictly on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
2. Hosting & Server Log Files
Core Format is hosted on Google's Blogger infrastructure. When you request any page on this website, Google's hosting servers automatically receive standard network request data, including:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device platform
- Referring and exit URLs
- Date and time stamps of requests
This network data is processed by the hosting infrastructure for service operation, security, threat mitigation, and aggregate traffic diagnostics. IP addresses represent network identifiers that can be classified as personal data under applicable data protection laws.
3. Cookies and Content Delivery Resources
Core Format loads certain assets through content delivery networks to render the site interface:
