Core Format provides browser-based web tools for converting, compressing, resizing, cropping, and preparing digital images. Conversion runs in this browser tab. Your image files are not uploaded for conversion. Your files remain private and are processed entirely within your client browser.
2. User Content & Ownership Rights
You retain full ownership, title, and all intellectual property rights in any images or files you process through Core Format tools, as well as the newly encoded output files generated by your browser. Core Format does not claim any ownership in your images and does not inject proprietary watermarks or copyright notices into your exported files. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use and modify the files you process.
3. Permitted Use & Processing Limits
Permission is granted to use Core Format's client-side tools for personal, educational, or commercial image processing. No registration or user account is required. Because conversion execution relies on your device's browser runtime and local memory, individual tools enforce reasonable file size, batch quantity, and pixel dimension limits to ensure browser stability and avoid memory exhaustion crashes.
4. Technical Disclaimer & Output Changes
The tools and materials on Core Format are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. When processing raster images via HTML5 canvas, the output is a newly encoded file; original source metadata (including camera EXIF tags, GPS information, and embedded color profiles) is not guaranteed to survive the conversion process. Users should always retain backup copies of their original source files.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Core Format and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the tools on this website.
